Yafai is a good, good fighters. You have to remember he won silver at last years championships. That's a terrific win for Conlon.

Last time there was a webstream of the full event.
Is there no where you can watch these fights?

Harry did get robbed in the semis against the indian fighter. They were never going to allow a ****stani fighter beat an indian one in india. Bronze was always the most he was going to get with the corrupt judges you get in amateur boxing especially at the big events.

The Indian won very comfortably, you must have watched a different fight. He was very lucky to get the result against Selby IMO who is a far more skilled operator. Still though, it was a good achievement to get as far as he did as nobody gave him a chance.

I think its safe to conclude that Ireland is now the best amateur team in western Europe. Young Michael Conlon is an absolute star [and only 19], I expect big things from this kid in the ams and then the pros. BTW his brother Jamie is a rising star of the professional flyweight scene [6-0 4TKO] also. Expect Jamie to win the British or Commonwealth title in the near future.
