at the rate the klitsckos r going trying to find an opponent with testicles who will at least try and hit back, meehan may not be far off getting a phone call. if haye doesn't fight him one of the klits might. they r really struggling to get someone to step in the ring with them aren't they? they r simply too good for everybody else, and there is no chance haye will fight them. be interesting what pans out after they brothers retire won't it?
its a real shame kali had those years of inactivity arguably in hois prime, could have had a decent crack at the WBA at least.
pity he couldn't have got two under his belt (not including the dancing man) before chagaev, would have been a different outcome
I'm with you. I think Meehan will get a title shot within 12-14 months. Kali is under Don King, and with Kali going past 40 he isn't going to get too many more opportunities so this could be a ticket to a decent payday. Granted King also had Valuev who priced himself out of a fight with V Klits, but Kali does not have the popularity and leverage of Valuev. My thoughts here: http://www.eastsideboxing.com/forum/showthread.php?t=257067
if i was kali i'd be ringing the klits every day. wlad may be fighting dereck chisora ffs next. the same guy who was being talked about fighting leapai next possibly. wlad would kill the poor guy atm.
meehan has as good a chance of winning a title as the others imo if the klits call it quits within 2 years. he isn't getting any younger but some of these contenders don't appear to be future stars.
