Kali Meehan-Ruslan Chagaev, Winner Will Be Haye's Mandatory

Good fight. Too bad Kali is so damned inactive. I like Kali as a fighter, so I will root for him.

 

I will too but I think chagaev beats him soundly. I feel he got jobbed against brewster a long time ago, still remember that fight.

 

pretty glad to hear this actually. Either Chagaev or Meehan in top form are worthy competition for Haye and could make an exciting fight.

 

As a poster above said, his match against Brewster was pretty damn good. Though if memory serves me, that was Brewster's first title defense after laying the panic stricken Wlad out the fight before. It took place 5 years ago. Meehan's next fight after that was on a big stage against Rahman. In which he destroyed and knocked Meehan out with ease in the night of the heavyweights.

Both Meehan and Chagaev are past their primes, and will not do well against Haye. Chagaev should win, but he has looked terrible in his last 3 fights.

 

meehan would most certainly have a great shot at beating haye. he likes to keep busy with his punches and his power would worry haye quite a alot.
