    I thought Michael Kirby would last longer than a minute. Kali Meehan needs to find some bigger fights again before he gets too much older.

    mate I don't dislike Alex one bit..but I do see him as flawed at this stage which might hold him back on the world stage...but that's just my opinion...I hope the fight happens...if the moneys there i'm sure Kali will jump on it...but it doesn't mean the result will be any different...it'd still be an exciting fight to look forward too...but if I had to pick a result...bearing in mind that Kirby only went one...I'd pick Kali by KO round 3...Alex is a on the front foot banger...with one gear and no plan B...he doen't even have a jab...can't see it goin' any other way...please don't take it personal..I'm just pickin' a result...

    Word is that Tua is retiring after Barrett. McCall would be a good fight for Kali and one I'd be interested in watching. The Leapai fight would be a barn burner too. It'd be total carnage while it lasted. Although Meehan was brilliant last night, in a perverse way I think he couldve done with it going more rounds. It probably wouldve been of greater benefit due to his inactivity.

    This is more what I was referring to although I admit i missed the no standing 8 count announcement. I also don't think it would have changed the outcome but it would have given Kirby the 2 or 3 seconds he needed to carry on.
