Haye's mandatory defense against Chagaev isn't due until May 2011. It's a bit of a reach to argue he's avoiding him already.

I don't think Haye wil be too excited about fighting Chagaev when the time comes, Chaggy is a tough customer who brings little to none extra revenues in PPV. He is unknown, especially in the UK. Haye may try to get an exception to a mandatory defense by finally trying to get a unification bout done. We'll see how it unfolds.

Haye fought his last mandatory in Ruiz and got nothing but **** for it. What excuse do you have have for Sosnowski or Johnson, who everyone knew was utter horse****?

the fight won't happen. Chagaev cannot get a license to fight in the UK

Kalle probably thinks, that Ottke and Valuev fights had fair judging, too

It was the last sentence in my post and its conclusion. Read above where i stated the premise of my argument.

That may not stop the WBA from enforcing a mandatory defense for Haye against him. The WBA may insist to stage the fight where a license is available to Chagaev.

Remember the drama with Chagaev in Finland, I doubt the WBA wants a repeat of that.

they'd have to supplement the loss of revenue from being unable to stage it elsewhere. If Chagaev isn't fit to fight legally, Haye won't have to fight him.

Harrison, Rahman, Holyfield - Haye will fight these guys, he only fights the best and in the their prime boxers. It's the only way for him to consolidate his already stunning legacy as a HW king!

Wlad fought Rahman recently. He could have picked Toney who'd just beaten Rahman. He didn't. Wow - what a shining example.

Haye won't fight any of those three. Harrison has only been mentioned by Harrison in any serious way. Haye has stated again and again that he won't fight him.

Is this in defense of Haye? Your logic is seriously broken, i'm afraid...

I don't know why you're discussing another boxer's opponents in this thread What's your point? Haye sucks but he's not the only one, therefore he's gold?

Don't know. Same as all of you. No one knows except Haye, Booth, Wlad and K2.
