Come on, Jack. Haye has tarnished himself by overhyping himself and not delivering. Why do you persist with this? Your whole defense of him is a weak ass straw man. As soon as there was any mention of a press ban, you jumped on it. When someone questioned you about it, you were like "I dunno, I think it's generally accepted." If you're going to back something up concretely, you can't say "I don't know."

I don't know if Haye was offered 50/50. I wasn't there. What I do know is that he's done a terrible job of handling his own hype ever since Wladimir called him out.

Bunce's sources aren't from Booth, they're from K2. I do tend to believe Rafael but his quote was obviously taken from the Boente interview.

Did you read me say that Booth and Boente are as reliable? I trust them both equally, which is why you won't hear me say 50/50 wasn't offered. I just ignore what the pair of them say. If Rafael quotes Boente, I ignore it. If he quotes Booth, I ignore it. If Rafael or Bunce quotes a member of K2, Top Rank, GBP or whoever, I trust that.

I do pick and choose my sources because of the countless lies from the likes of King and Arum over the years. You have to in boxing.

wlad calls out haye a year later
haye is silent
wlad tired of waiting, opts for povetkin
hayes people suddenly end 3 month silence
not hard to figure out

 

Which is why I asked Bunce personally, so I could provide a trustworthy source. I knew it was vague, so found proof. Had he said it was bull****, I'd have admitted I was wrong, but I wasn't.

Since Wlad called him out, he's had a media ban. His only interview since then, he's said he wants Klitschko (Others said he didn't), he said he doesn't want Harrison (Others said he did) and claim he wants to unify then retire (Others said he didn't). He did everything his fans could want.

 

and you dont think as big as david hayes head is, how he owns "hayemaker promotions" and he is what he calls himself a "heavyweight champion" do you really not think the non talk to media is not the biggest load of crap ever? no way i buy that

 

Haye calls them out
Accepts a 3 fight deal, that is possibly the worst contract in boxing history
Accepts a fight with Valuev for more money
They negotiate
Klitschko accepts a deal, whilst Haye is banned from the media


Both sides are at fault.

On a side note, both Klitschko's are much bigger draws than Valuev, so despite that, why Haye make more against him than he would against either Klitschko? They gave him one ridiculously awful offer and lowballed him, yet you can't see any fault there?

If they wanted the fight, why not give him a fair contract?

Why? I've defended Klitschko on here for years. In this forum and the classic forum. I've seen all the fights I can get my hands on. I'm interested in seeing him fight and would love to meet him sometime. I even spent a lot of time trying to get hold of a KlitschkO Boss hoody recently. Look through my post history and you'll see him on my favourite fighter lists.

Not that I should have to defend that, just because we disagree.

It's funny how I've gone from being a "KLITite" or whatever to a "Klit hater" in the eyes of some.
