NO, no, no. Teofamo Lopez defense is a broke azz version of Voids shoulder scroll. Plus he has no chin and skins peels up too easy. Haney has an educated jab and can keep his range. Kambo had to lunge in and was missing badly. Ability of Haney to use his jab and keep him at range was the big problem for Kambo. He just could not get close. That's the difference in this contest.Teofamo broke azz shoulder scroll imitation is just that horrific. Horrible copy of the original.
Neither is Kambosos. How many of his fights have you seen? Even Lopez landed plenty of leather on Kambo. Kambo will become a gatekeeper in the future. He is a touch above Selby/Bey at best.
Kambosos is very good at close range. He striggles when you stick a jab in his face and keep it long. Besides, there's no shame in getting touched up by the same man that beat Lomachenko A gatekeeper ? Nah I'd give him more credit that that. Its crazy how much Kambosos is getting crapped on right now. One minute he's lauded as an elite next he's a bum because he lost. Haney was a bad matchup. Haney would've done the same schooling job on Teofimo Lopez, Lopez would rough up, overpower, and beat any version of Lomachenko, and Lomachenko would outwork and beat Haney. Styles make fights. Lots of boxing fans have amnesia.
Had Lopez forgotten his brains (and his left hand) against Lomachenko like he did against Kambo, he would have been schooled. Not really. He doesn't know how to fight at less than an arm's length. He likes to throw punches around mid-range. If you disagree provide an example (fight). That is what happens when fighters fight twice a year at best. FWIW I never rated Kambo elite since elite boxers do not struggle with Bey. Now you sound like the people you are criticizing, judging everything from one fight. Lomachenko-Lopez was far from a definitive fight, that is why so many people were interested in a rematch. Styles do not make fights when there is a chasm in betwee raw abilities. A C level fighter does not beat an A level fighter just because he has the right style.
Linares can punch. Kambosos isn’t a hard puncher. People here kept thinking George some kind of KO artist when he’s just a decent boxer. Teo fought like an idiot.
That was Kambosos if you watch his other fights before the Lopez one. He got lucky to catch Teofimo on a bad night like Teofimo got lucky to catch Loma on a bad night.
That's the formula for those type of level fighters, he will continue to get those fights with top level fighters(duckers) which instead of the opponents they should be facing will choose George while fooling their oh so intelligent fan's, who will then continue to shout "what do you mean, it's a great win for him!" so unheard of, Also "Ideal Tank Opponent" Indeed.
All speculation. Kambosos beat him soundly Still has skilled offense. And a blitzing combination puncher that counters quickly at a whim. Cool. Thats your opinion. He proved that he was at least a world class fighter against Lopez, just like Jack Catterall proved he was world class against Taylor, if not elite. Lopez still won it and became undisputed. With all of the mental gymnastics a person still cannot disprove that Lopez was on the same level as Lomachenko even if they grasp at straws and call it a draw. Ruiz/Joshua. Kambosos/Lopez. Salido/Lomachenko. Barkley/Hearns. Max Schmeling/Louis. But the points are moot in the end because Kambosos is not a C level fighter you bonehead. He struggles with outboxers so he is limited but he outskilled Teofimo Lopez in the offensive department, something nobody has done. Also styles don't make fights ? You're exposing yourself more and more
What was he before Haney beat him. Oh yeah, he was the next coming, The Emperor, Mr. 301 Spartan warrior, The beginning and ending for all at 135 except little Loma. After Haney schools his ass, Now he is limited bum that only now can Tank beat. GTFOHWTBS.
I don't think that is the case. I think if a fighter has a fast guy in front of him, he loses a little spirit and cannot make moves or he is countered..
Joshua was stopped. And in the very next fight Ruiz got schooled. Lopez fought without his jab and a **** corner. If he fights like that at 140 he is getting more than a busted face. Not even remotely comparable to Barkley/Hearns or Ruiz/Joshua. Lomachenko finished stronger and Salido was left clinching to survive towards the end. A club fighter with the "right" style does not beat a world level fighter. Kambo was hit a lot and got dropped. The rounds were far from one-sided, which is why the fight was exciting. Lopez kept Lomachenko at a distance with a size and power advantage. Kambo has neither, letting Lomachenko in is a recipe for disaster. Kambo has a grand total of two world level fights, one of which he lost. You are just reading too much.
Ruiz got schooled mostly because Joshua came through with a completely different style than the first fight. This is literally one of the best modern examples of styles make fights. . It is right there in your face and you choose to stay in denial. Lomachenko still struggled with an old c level fighter because Salido pushed Lomachenko back and Lomachenko isn't near as good on the backfoot as he is going forward. A club fighter ? you're moving the goal posts. Nobody mentioned club fighters. We are revolving around the topic of Kambosos and Kambosos is nowhere near a club fighter, hell calling him C level is quite foolish considering he didn't lose any fights prior to Haney with his close fights being 8-4 decisions against fighters that exposed his front foot abilities. Aka a bad style match up. And Selby isn't even a bad fighter. Saying Kambosos is limited is one thing but he's still world class. He still beat him soundly. Soundly as in 8-4 and they exchanged knockdowns so it doesn't mean much Kambosos was exchanging with Lopez on the inside and at mid range, the same Lopez that could hang with Lomachenko in the pocket, though Kambosos did more midrange work. Just because he was not in there like the second coming of Roberto Duran, holding and unloading for several seconds in a row doesn't mean them exchanges up close isn't infighting. The close range work were mostly counters and him getting off combinations before getting out of range and waiting to time more counters. It's funny though, had Lomachenko been the one to beat Kambosos you'd be singing a different tune, calling Kambosos a "very good fighter who just feel short against an elite like Loma" but since Haney schooled him, Kambosos is a gatekeeper. It's ridiculous.
Only if you have a good size advantage and foul continuously. Nonetheless, Salido managed a SD in a fight I saw Lomachenko win. Kambo was not exchanging on the inside.
