No debate there - even his fans cant argue against to this. He lost his balls and does not deserve the right to jump the queue. Next Kambosis fight should be winner of Haney v Diaz for undisputed title. Also, Loma is an Arum guy - good luck getting ahead of Hearn and Haney LOL
Watch round 12 if you think Lomachenko lacks heart. I like George but both Haney and Loma would have a far easier time than Lopez. Lomaachenko would be happy to beat Lopez with or without the belts.
Kambosis had no fear of Lopez unlke Loma. Kambosis proved that at times hard work can ovecome talent.
Kambosos showed how to close the show in convincing fashion, which was something Loma wasn’t able to do. Loma showed no urgency in trying to win the championship rounds and he paid dearly for it.
Yes you’re right about that, I stand corrected. Still, Loma should have stepped up the gas much sooner.
Loma is a natural 126 pounder campaigning in his third weight class and who was giving away huge physical advantages against a much naturally bigger, heavier, longer and more powerful savage punching KO artist who possesses vicious one punch power in either hand Look at the size of this creep His shots sound like those of a much bigger man This is what he did to a fellow gigantic 135 pounder with one shot who had never been stopped and who comes in at 154 on fight night Commey weighs about 15 pounds more than Loma, three divisions heavier and he's teak tough Not to mention Loma has become very injury prone and was carrying a serious shoulder injury, a recurring injury, going into the fight
Lopez also failed to put it on in the last couple of rounds. After dropping him in the 10th he really needed to lay it on the line. Was he hoping for a dodgy decision? Was Kambosos just too good? Was Teo tired? Too inexperienced? At any rate the real top dogs turn it on when it matters. Maybe Kambosos was simply the top dog in there.
For a natural Featherweight who was shorter and physically smaller, with only one fully functional shoulder and not some KO artist to begin with, getting bad advice from his corner. He still arguably managed to win 6 rounds. I think that's pretty goddamn impressive if you ask me.
