Just because Loma didn't say it, it doesn't make that it is not true. Loma's shoulder injury is a FACT. Every followers of boxing with right mind knows that it is a big reason why he wasn't performing well.

He underwent surgery only two days after the fight, two days. People can check with his doctor, the hospital and there were even photos of him laying in bed with his shoulder wrapped and surgery scars. And this is not the first time Loma got injured in his shoulder in the middle of his fight. He got injured the first time when he fought Linares. The injury was in the same spot as the first one. Only difference is Loma won the first one.

Your scorecard was 119-109 for Teofimo Lopez in the Lomachenko fight. Corrupt/inept Julie Lederman had the same score and was ripped for it. That alone proved that you either know **** about the sport, or you are nothing but a Lopez fanboy. I am not surprised that you didn't score the fight for Kambosos, when everyone except the lowlife Teofimo and his scumbag father had the Australian winning. Kambosos won 8-4. No, it could not have gone either way. Delete your account.

Loma has heart but isn't a face first fighter, so I wouldn't expect him to trade. Lopez fought a great bout against him, and Saturday doesn't detract from that (Kambosos definitely beat him, tho).

Loma fans are some of the most irrational on this forum. Given that he performed much better in the second half of the fight than the first half, you can't possibly use an injury as an excuse. Makes no sense. He had too much respect for Lopez's power and got taken off his game. OTOH, when he traded in the 12th he got hurt, so maybe he had the right gameplan all along.

As for Lopez, he should move up in weight and hopefully learn some humility. He fought like an idiot in the 1st round, just no respect for his opponent at all.

The video about recharging the matrix, before the Nakatani fight, was largely about his shoulder being injured before the Lopez fight.

His injury was known before the fight. Father and son had a dispute over going ahead with the fight. At this point Lomachenko wants to clean 135 and retire, that hurry cost him.

Which is exactly why there should be day of fight weigh in's. I mean geez! a guy entering the ring at jr. middleweight fighting for the lightweight title?

Yeah so many of these weight bullies fights are won on sheer size, weight, length, strength and power and then when they move up in weight and start facing world class opponents their own size or closer to it suddenly the KOs dry up and they come unstuck.

You didn't address my point. How did he fight much better in the 2nd half of the fight -- winning some of those rounds handily -- but was too injured to not punch in the first half of the bout? Doesn't add up.

Lomachenko has fought tentatively against opponents before Lopez too.

There is no such thing as a weight bully, at least not in the way you guys are using it.

What's the argument for why someone should not make the lowest class they can (somewhat) comfortably make?

Here come the Loma haters. Loma fought Teo with a shoulder that needed surgery. The Loma who dominated Nakatani in his next fight would have crushed both guys on Saturday. Loma doesn’t duck anyone abs you will have your answer in the ring if Kambosos fights him. I like both guys and respect the way they carry themselves inside and outside the ring.

As a fight fan, it’s impossible to not like George. I wish him all the best and will root for him whenever he is in the ring. Great guy, valiant boxer who busted up Teo. He absolutely fought Lopez better than Loma so I’m not taking anything away from his brilliant performance.
