Tonight's fight was in Germany.

 

First noble boxing win for Ukraine for the week. I didn't get to watch the fight, but it seemed pretty close and obviously Harry needed to kill Karen to get the victory in Germany. Even after Sauerland left the Deutsche scene, the Germans still love their shabby decisions. Traditions shouldn't be forgotten.

As for Chukhadzhian. He is a decent enough fighter. When he fought against Ennis, I had it 117-111 for Jaron back then and it was competitive for the first portion of the fight. His is footwork and speed was solid, just couldn't handle Ennis' power and offence, which is no shame, since Ennis is such a devastating knockout artist. Still I have no interest in the rematch and quite honestly preferred Harry to have won today.

I just saw the IBF rankings. The first two spots are vacant. Number 3 is Crowley who will face Ennis. Four is Santillan who will fight for the WBO interim belt. 5 is Spence, but his days at welterweight are done. Now the highest ranked contender is Jin Sasaki. Karen vs Sasaki would be an interesting clash of styles should it ever happen. Sasaki has been on a row after his defeat to Hiraoka and has destroyed the regional scene in Asia.

I have to give you credit for this. While I think there are many less robberies than you and I rarely think anyone is bought off or paid for, you are very consistent. Regardless of country, promoter, referee or fighters involved, you rail against any decision you see as unjust.
