I saw Fred Mundraby the other day. Looks in great condition. Originally was going to defend his Aussie title, but is now fighting a Thai. I asked him about the draw he had with Micallef. He said his head wasn't right, going in. Had 0 sparring prior and was arguing with the Mrs. He wasn't making excuses by any means. In fact he said he thought he lost. His trainer said a draw was right, but Fred should go a helluva lot better in the return, when it happens.
Mundraby is good, tho i saw him get beat my mate Steve in the amateurs a couple yrs odd back now. All the best to the young lad, a nice polite guy.:good
I think if Bob takes his time with him (and he says that he will) he can go a long way. He's got a lot of talent and is still very young.
Yeah sure aint with Oganov. He will either Gas or get the KO. He has Craig Christian in his corner now tho, so should be interesting to see wat happens from that standpoint. Craig is a fine trainer IMO.:good
Oganov win would not surprise me. I remember when Nicolai Valouev fought in Australia and New Zealand. Have some videos of his fights back then.
Im leaning towards Karoke. "Pete" aint that bad, he can really whack and has a fairly good chin. This is a good fight to see where Oganov is at right now, a win could get him back into some T.V fights in the U.S.
im backing oganov to win, massive puncher, i would go at far as say devastating but technically not a great boxer.. but i think he is a level above kariuki and is close to world class, one loss doesnt make u a crap fighter...
I just wanna get footage of this match hey boys. So disapointed this & the Medley rematch aint televised. These are the matches that must be seen on TV.:deal
its really a joke prob the best 2 fights pound for pound australia will get in the first half of the year arent on tv... shame... but if somehow we can get footage, is it a redcornerproduction? they usually post it on youtube?
