Karl Mildenberger of 1966 vs Jerry Quarry 1969 Karl of the failed attempt to dethrone then champion Muhammad Ali goes up against the Jerry Quarry that fought Joe Frazier on June 23 1969. How does this fight go?

I like Mildenberger, but I favour Jerry Quarry. He would be probably too tough.

That Jerry Quarry of June 23 1969 gave Joe Frazier all he could handle for 6 rounds until Joe put on the smoke and stopped him in Madison Square Garden. Jerry would counter that strong right jab thrown by southpaw Karl Mildenberger, constantly connecting with that southpaw killing right hand. Jerry by TKO 6. And that is no bs, Lol.

Does anyone know if Quarry fought any quality southpaws? I can’t think of any off the top of my head.

I do know an awkward, stand-up Euro-style Lorenzo Zanon shut him out for seven rounds before Jerry came on late for the KO, so I like Karl’s chances here.

Very true, judging from Mildenberger's performance against a peak Muhammad Ali on Sept 10 1966.

Oh you mean the bout where Quarry had come out of retirement, and was noticeably a shot fighter and a shell of himself hence the reason he retired in the first place? Let's at least TRY to be fair.

So give me your fair comparison of who Quarry faced who was remotely like Mildenberger. I’ll hang up and listen.

I never said he did or didn't face anyone like Mildenberger. I was just addressing the absurdity of bringing up the Zanon bout, who fought nothing like Mildenberger anyways and has absolutely no bearing to this match-up, and should've never been brought up by anyone in the first place unless they have an agenda.
