I thought he looked like a terrific prospect, then he lost to Steve Williams - who was much stronger than him. But, he hasnt fought in a year, he needs to develop him man strength but I think he can develop in a very good fighter. Does anyone know what is happening with his career at the moment, is he still with Maloney?
Think he was with Steve Woods. Seems like one of those fighters that has been damaged by the lack of TV.
I watched a few of his fights and was never impressed by him or his style. He came with this Manchester Mexican stuff and spoke of Barrera but didn't see much of that class in his work. Very straight ahead basic pressure fighter. Doesn't move his head, pushes the punches and often seems tense. Decent win on card beating Grant but being bullied by Williams and stopped pretty much showed he has a lot of work to do.
