Teddy and Joe are blind. Roman really softened Dionisio up, up through and including the ninth. Too much was made of the knockdown, that punch from Miranda just clipped the front of Roman's face and he wasn't terribly hurt.

Miranda was obviously gassed from swatting at so much air...you could see it as early as the halfway point. As for Karmazin - his bugaboo has always been his punch resistance...when it comes to stamina and punch recovery, he's as tough as they come. Plus he's a much smarter boxer and has better punching technique than Miranda.

Crazy that Tessitore is still saying "Miranda was laying a hurting on Karmazin in that ninth round!". He landed ONE right hand, glancingly. atsch After that Karmazin took a minute to get his legs back under him (during which time Miranda did nothing to capitalize), and then damn near stole the round back.
