Murat is defending his 168-title 28 August in Germany. Does he have the skill and strenght to be the next big thing coming out of Germany? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Qp-sAeRgTi0 What do you guys think?:hat
well in this video he's fighting a can of campbell's tomato soup, but i really like his style and it looks like he's got plenty of talent. i'll be watching him from now on, that's for sure. thanks for the post.
He looks very talented, throw good punches, good defence, footwork etc. But ofcourse he needs to be a little polished, and get tested a bit more before making him the next Arthur! With a fighter like him comming up, 168 gets more and more exciting!
Talked about this guy a little while ago, but a poster from Germany said he is a bit raw. I think he will be a top 10 guy in the next year and that is saying a lot in the SMW division. Best of luck to Karo.
Yeah, looks talented, sharp, focused. Doesn't seem to have quite the snap on his punches that Abraham has though. Will be interesting to see him in the mix in a year or two.
It really tells me the difference in depth between SMW and LHW when I consider that Murat fought more or less evenly in a close victory vs LHW beltholder Campillo and isn't even top 10 in the 168 pound division yet.
So he's Armenian. That's one common bond with AA. Now all he needs to do is win a vacant title in a fight with a no-hoper, and then spend 4 years beating up cab drivers in Germany. If he can pull that off, he'll definitely be "the next Arthur Abraham." I think the kid has a good shot.
After that he fights a 43 years old who beats him pillar to pillar resulting in one of the most lopsided victories a boxer can have, then he fights Gary Lockett and Marco Antonio Rubio, asks the no 1 guy at MW to "build his profile", challenges a couple of JMW's then signs to fight a welterweight who barely can make MW if his life depended on it:hi:
Many people say that it was a robbery. I didn't watch the fight because I thought that Campillo was just a club fighter. I don't think he can become a top5 super middle-weight. No power (compared to the elite), low workrate and much too small to compete with the big guys at the top.
