BIG LEFT HAND BY BRAEHMER!! KD!!! Meroro gets up and hops around, trying to grab Braehmer. Meroro is flailing his arms madly, diving in and out as Braehmer continues to work patiently behind his right jab with a little bounce in his legs. Braehmer leads with lefts to harry Meroro to the ropes. Braehmer easily slips the left jab and pecks at Meroro with the right.

Round 5

Meroro keeps lunging in with the same high straight punches, and Braehmer keeps smacking him back and rocking him on his heels. Every time. Isn't the capacity for learning what separates us humans from the lower primates. Come on, Meroro. You're being a silly ******. Change it up. This is growing monotonous, and Nielsen vs. Vega looks fun... Braehmer keeps landing right jabs, dipping side to side with his guard up and leaving Meroro no prayer of landing any of the very few counter punches he's throwing. High jabs by Meroro, deflected with brush-off swipes of Braehmer's right hand. Braehmer keeps applying mild pressure and Meroro keeps burning rubber.

Round 6

Braehmer is landing some very flush left hands from outside, throwing them unseen from behind his rear hip. Meroro is getting absolutely cracked but has no recourse. Braehmer is landing the shots even as Meroro circles away with his body at a sidelong angle and pushes out a jab, not much more he can do to avoid them. Braehmer keeps chasing and hitting. Meroro keeps on running.

Round 7

Braehmer slips left jabs and comes forward, tagging Meroro at will with the right. Good head movement by Braehmer. Meroro keeps circling around and around, hoping and praying for one of his occasional lunges with the right to catch Braehmer flush - but no such luck. BIG LEFT HAND BY BRAEHMER!!! Meroro badly stunned. More circling, negativity. One solid jab by Meroro. Leaping left can-opener by Braehmer.

70-62 Braehmer

 

Round 8

Braehmer is hopping in, slashing at the body. Low work rate from Braehmer, but next to nothing coming back from Meroro. Just a few probing left hooks up top, easily slipped. Braehmer is jogging in and out with confidence, just lacking the energy to keep up too many flurries. Right jab, lazy left uppercut by Braehmer. Meroro taps in a hook. Meroro circles out and paws his left jab as Braehmer lands a lead left to the body.

Closest thing to a Meroro round, IMO.

Round 9

Big left hand by Braehmer. Meroro circles left, paws jabs. Very kitten-like, now. (both the jab, and Meroro's overall performance) Braehmer's is the dog in there. Not quite a rottweiler, though. Letting Meroro get cute and track around the ring, pushing out little jabs and steering away from the ropes while leaning askew of all Braehmer's shots. Braehmer's work is getting sloppy. He's still vastly outworking the few and meager jabs that make up of Meroro's output, but he isn't really catching him with anything.

Round 10

Jackhammer right jabs by Braehmer. Meroro is pushed into a corner. Time out. Point taken from Meroro? Why? For running? :huh What was that all about? Anyway, time in. FLUSH left hand lead by Braehmer. Meroro hurt, and now he goes to hug. Nope, Braehmer won't be denied. Big left hand, and another and another. Meroro remembers that old saying about the better part of valor and makes like a tree. Braehmer chases. Right jab, left cross. BIG LEFT HANDS BY BRAEHMER!! Meroro is barely keeping upright, jogging backward and tossing out some weak defensive jabs. He has to spoil for twenty more seconds to survive. BIG left uppercut to the body by Braehmer. Meroro pulls him into a hug by the ropes. Body shot by Braehmer.
