Kash Farooq is on the undercard of the Conor Benn vs Samuel Vargas show on the 10th day of April 2021. This card is televised by Sky and DAZN. This show will be televised on Sky Sports in the UK and on DAZN streaming service worldwide.

Farooq's opponent has been announced today as the current WBC International Silver Title holder, Alexander Espinoza.

Sure, the title is another in the endless list of "titles" that have almost no meaning today, but this is a nice step up for Farooq.

Quality fighter is Kash. This fight will hopefully show just how 'ready' he is for the step up in opponent

Good opponent. Unfortunately i don't think Espinoza had a full camp and he has to fly to the UK on short notice. Not the greatest circumstances to fight in full strength with not the greatest prep. Let's see....def the best opponent for Farooq has fought by a mile excluding McG.

    Got Farooq by Decision here.

I hope so. I guess we have yet to see the level that he will get to. Will it be national, European, fringe contender, contender or world champion? I hope he can get to the top and stay there.

Also, very happy to see the step up in competition.

He is a very average sized bantamweight and hardly rehydrates at all so I can't imagine him going through even more than 2 or 3 weight classes.

It might be one of those "start your camp now we are in talks" and "we will finalize soon so start training now" situations. I doubt that Espinoza has been doing anything other than getting ready for a fight in the last few months.

Great from Team Farooq though, a step up in competition will only show where he belongs.
