Kash Farooq vs Kyle Williams will be shown live this Thursday evening from 11pm. The undercard to be shown on the BBC sport Scotland website and the BBC sport app at 10pm.

Boris Crighton and Nathaniel Collins are on the undercard and I believe Alex Arthur will be part of the commentary team

You've got some of the channels wrong. 101 and 801 on Sky in Scotland is BBC 1 Scotland, it's not on that channel, it's on the new BBC Scotland channel. Channel 115 on Sky in Scotland (as per thread title). Not sure about the rest of the UK, if they have the same channel numbers, or if they even get the BBC Scotland channel.

How good is Farooq? Beating Butcher seems like a great scalp.

For us Englanders, we are fooked.

We can however find the BBC Sports Scotland website, sign up using a Jock postcode and we are on.

I will be using the postcode for the Marriott Hotel Glasgow G3 8RR

Only saw him fight a couple of times. Still looks very raw, lot of work to be done on his technique, but he can fight at a high pace, has a great work rate and engine and is happy to be the aggressor. Farooq vs McGregor would be the natural fight to make for both the British and Commonwealth titles. I'd pick McGregor to get the win there. He looks the all round better boxer IMO.

Alex Arthur introduced by the presenter as a former World Champion but never won or defended a world title in the ring.

Not even a red face in sight

Not surprising in the slightest. The guy is one of the most arrogant and self important dickheads you will ever encounter.

I agree m8. I gave always refused to class him as a world champion. It's one thing being gave a pudding to win a paper belt against, like Burns v the Italian guy, but it's another completely when you have never won a world title fight !! It would be like one of the 4 main sanctioning bodies saying to you or me here is a vacant belt your a world champion ! Ridiculous.

Arthur gets the same credit as Scott Harrison and Ricky Burns which I find absolutely incredible as both won and defended World Titles in the ring. Harrison had qualities which could have took him right up there with elite fighters, unfortunately, alcoholism defeated him.

No red face on Alex Arthur who parades about like he was Marvellous Marvin Hagler when he was probably Kevin Mitchell at best if one was very generous.
