Sorry if this has been posted already. What an amazing story, I can't wait to see this. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FSBbSejBeRE
i remember having a thread on which boxer would you most like a film/documentary made about. and kassim came back over and over again. i hope it does well it would be a shame to spoil a story if it flops. but almost all boxing fans will see it so... "are you american baby or african baby?" (stick out mickey mouse toy) LOL
Im sure its going to be....but it looks powerful. Always felt his life would make a fantastic documentary (tho with what he has gone through, fantastic may not be the right word). I will definately be seeing this.
I've always said that if a documentary or movie is made about a specific boxer, it should be about Kassim Ouma - even over guys like Tyson, Liston, and Duran. It looks absolutely phenominal and I hope a lot of people get the opportunity to see this. As a Detroiter, I'll be rooting for Kassim this Friday against K9 Bundrage, no question.
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1201576/plotsummary also some info on it on IMDB The guy is an inspiration and shows what hard work and dedication can bring you.
He has seen & been forced to do some really ****ed up ****. Its amazing he can really function at all. Dude probably has some hardcore nightmares. Getting paid to Box probably seems like nothing to him. Will be checking this out!
