I agree, professionalism is best but when we are discussing money things have a tendency to get out of hand.

BTW those Harlem street corners have gotten quite expensive......gentrification has done a number on those streets.

We also have to ask ourselves why Ward felt the need to single out Duva for ''talking'' yet had absolutely nothing to say to Kovalev when at the pressers, after SK specifically went on record ''talking'' about breaking his hands if Ward resorted to headbutts and elbows.

we also have to ask ourselves why kovalev got off to probably the best possible start you could imagine...and couldnt close the deal and lost.....

I don't want to see this fight again, Kovalev had his dream chance to finish Ward and didn't. Ward had Kovalev figured out by the middle of the fight and would shut him out in a rematch.

This whole drama is just taking attention away from the fact they both want nothing to do with a near40 year old Superman Stevenson

Only deluded and backward specimen could watch the fight and conclude that he lost.

He should have knocked out ward, agreed. However he wasn't banking on cooked judges favouring Ward, considering he was the champ, the big name that people came to see and the more active fighter on the night, with the knock down, more punches thrown and less fouls.

I just hope you realise you are in the minority that believes Ward won. The hardcore fan, the pundit, the retired boxer, the dabbler, have all concluded that Ward lost that night and stole a decision on the back of his promotion paying off judges.

You seem to be looking for approval from other Ward fans by blinding backing a fraud, who rarely if ever sticks their word.

actually alot of the pundits and people involved in the game, like your hero's trainer disabled sanchez, said it was a close fight they "thought" kovalev won but could have gone either way....

oh well...maybe kovalev can have his day in the sun at the rematch!

As I stated before. What good is a rematch clause, if the language regarding the rematch clause is so loose? If you want the rematch in six months, put it in the clause. If you want the rematch in four months, put it in the clause. Seems kinds of stupid to go through all that trouble, and then still get strung along, because you didn't cover your fighter properly, with the contract language.

I though kovalev camp handle the whole things as respectful and classy as it could be regarding the circumstances.
Ward in the other hand is a jerk regardless all his supporters try to put out non sensicall excuse and defences as to why the rematch is not verbally discussed.

I think either one of them would like to fight Stevenson instead of each other. I do think thAT If I were Ward I would prefer to fight Stevenson and get more Money. A fight with Kovalev in the US he would have a 50 -50 chance of winning after all at his age he needs all of the money that he can make. he has about a 30% chance of beating the other Russian. Fighting Kovalev any where but the US about a 60-40 chance of winning. If I were Ward and I cannot get a fight with Stevenson I would fight someone else then fight Kovalev

It's Ward who needs to deal with his own fears of a rematch and with the scores of pundits who saw him lose rd 10, clearly

If he actually beat Kovalev it would be fine doing what he's doing but the clown was beaten and dropped multiple times. Now we have to have a pretender like him delaying things only to vacate or retire because that is the only thing he will without a doubt do. No way in hell he rematches Kovalev. He was confident of beating Kovalev in the first fight but now he knows he has no chance. Dopey eye redneck should just get lost back to his daddy's trailer Park.
