It's not doubtful Stevenson is a huge puncher he can knock kovalev out. To say otherwise is crazy.

 

Yeah but for now, the fighters (or apparently Stevenson) are making more money fighting under Haymon. Also, it seems that Stevenson is somehow tied with Haymon. Even if he wasn't, why would he fight for less money on HBO against Kovalev (if that was the case)? The best way for him and for Kovalev would be to go on a purse bid with a 50/50 split while both side (HBO and Haymon) accept the risk of going through that process, which it seems HBO is not willing to do so. To sum up, I don't think that fight will happen and neither side are fully responsible.

 

Doubtful Ward will fight either man.

If this fight can be made, make it. Why should the boxing world stop and wait on Ward, who has been completely unreliable.

 

If she had *****, she'd let the fight go to purse bid and outbid Haymon and his wall street money...And if Kovalev had half a brain he'd make her.

 

maybe a tune up fight for Stevenson...say a little pre****scent girl and then he will be ready to be KTFO by Kovalev.

That's not just a Haymon problem. Several Quebec fighters were "offered" that in big fights before the Quebec scene became a little more recognized as a good place for fighters.
