Chicago was a big hit. I wonder if New York could duplicate it?
This would be a tasty card for the fans. Go Kathy.

As big of a Fonfara fan I am, he is no where close being able to face Kovalev. That'd be a 1st rd KO... Adamek vs Jennings, now that's a good fight.

Great card. Hope Jennings will not get cheated, like they did with Chambers and Cunningham.

This would be an excellent HBO event if it happens.

Adamek-Jennings would be a quality HW matchup, a competitive 50-50 fight between two very good boxers.

Fonfara isn't ready for Kovalev though, ideally I'd sooner see Kovalev-Shumenov as the co-feature.

Jennings would not win rds off the back foot unless he scored KDs. He's no Chambers or Cunningham in reverse.

But he a much better finisher than either of those guys and can fight going forward better than either of em.

Can he take Adameks power and workrate....IDK.....but if the Fedosov fight is any indication, NO. I know Fedo is a very strong body puncher and fought to his gameplan to the T, and that Adamek seems to all but abandoned his body attack in his last half dozen or so fights. BUT.....the only way Jennings wins that fight if is he puts Adamek on his back multiple times or for good.

And it won't be a robbery if Adamek is given the close rds b/c Jennings couldnt up his tempo.:think

As for the KOvalev/Fonfara affair......I like both fighters, but really, against KOvalev....not a fighter between 168-175 would last the distance except maybe Dirrelevent who'd be on his horse from the opening bell.

Adamek would probably win, Fonfara should avoid Kovalev if he doesn't want to end up like Cleverly

  12. Fonfara is not even Top 15 level and he will never be.

 It reflects poorly on a fighter's past when you have to make excuses for a robbery that hasn't even happened yet.

It would have to be in NYC. There would be riots in Chicago after these played out as they would...

IB, you Polonophile. Would you be taking the bus down to NYC for the fight? Little Poland on 2nd Avenue and 12th Street is a great place to stop and get your kielbasy and pierogi fix while you are here.
