One of the fights of the year IMO. All respect to Taylor for challenging herself like that.

I had it 5-5 at best. Could’ve been 6-4 Persoon. Draw probably the fairest result. Didn’t see Taylor winning, but not totally out of the question.

It was in no way a blatent robbery. I do hate that term, it's hugely over used and most people use it when a fight doesn't reflect their own biases. I think Katie was very fortunate to walk away with the win but I don't think it's undeserved. I do think that if the fight was in Europe outside the UK then she wouldn't have got the nod though

To your question i say they will have rematch if they both agree.

Regarding your statement then i ask why do females in combat sports wear foul guard protectors?

I wouldn't even call it the worst decision of the night, both women fought hard and while I'll not argue with anyone who thought Persoon should have won, I will say that it was closer than many are making it out to be. The Josh Kelly fight in no way shape or form should have been a draw, he spent more time backing down and ineffectually slipping punches with his hands down than he did throwing anything back. Robinson should have won that outright.

I watched the fight a second time and still can't find more than three rounds for Taylor here.

This was a terrible and disgusting ROBBERY.

If Taylor and Matchroom have any pride left they make a rematch, maybe even in Belgium as an apologise for the terrible decision.

Don't think it's a matter of pride, it's a money thing and as such they probably don't even see anything wrong with it. It's like with the majority of rich people, most of the time they don't realise something is morally abject, since they live with a bought sense of entitlement, while regular folk struggling are just collateral damage. Who cares if 90% of the viewers saw a robbery...next fight is an even bigger wad of cash coming in, so onwards and upwards it is
