I don't think the average fighter in the street would beat Katie Taylor, think a few male boxers she's sparred with would disagree with you. I have seen an 8st woman lay out several 15-16st male bouncers so it can be done of a talented female fighter.
I find the last sentence very hard to believe. I'd also say that Conor would do a number on Katie and I really respect her as a fighter. We shouldn't try to compare men and women's sports as it does nothing but belittle women and undermine their achievements as athletes.
Never said she would beat him as he has a power and weight advantage. Could she potentially give him a competitive boxing fight for a couple of rounds, yes but wouldn't last.
I think we're on the same page - barring the 8st women dropping 16st men which I can't imagine happening outside the plot of a comic or fantasy novel - I just feel to compare Taylor to men serves only to undermine her achievements as an athlete as we all know that in the men's game she'd struggle to last very with someone operating at a pretty low level despite her skill.
