Are there other people that think this too? I thought Marquez was gonna brutalize him earlier than that.

Katsidis did look good. JMM just looked that much better. Once Marquez is gone Katsidis will kick LW ass. He's a warrior.

I thought Katsidis looked good. He should still be in everybody's top 3 lightweights at the least.

I scored the knockdown round 10-8 (obviously) and one other round (I forget which, one of 5-7) in Katsidis' favor.

It was an action packed fight, but to me it is clearly behind Calderon vs. Segura and Kessler vs. Froch in terms of Fight of the Year. For the most part, Marquez/Katsidis was a beatdown.

I think Katsidis looked abit stronger than before, he wasn't as reckless or open as in the past. He still needs more side to side movement, cut off the ring, jab, jab, and use that beauty of a left hook he has. Use that to the body and go upstairs, needs to watch some Duran videos. He's one of boxing's nice guys and made a fan out of me. Hopefully he'll be champ soon.

didnt surprise me. expected him to do that thought he may even win.

the last guy he beat (kevin Mitchell) he was highly expected to lose came to East London and gave hima beatdown in front of a packed west ham football ground

b4 that mitchell was unbeaten with people like breidis Presscott on his resume

If I remember correctly, I gave Katsidis two rounds. the 2nd and one of the middle rounds. The loss should not diminish Katsidis, as losing to Marquez is not any ordinary defeat. Katsidis could have beat any other light that night without the name Juan Manuel Marquez.
