I like Mike...but he has a paper mache face and Diaz with his sharp accurate combos would slice him up...Good fight....this is probably the most action fight for diaz now. Needs to be made. This is a hard one to predict :think

Heart v. stamina. Kats will be unlike Freitas or Julio--he will never quit. Perhaps the most exciting fight @ LW. A pick 'em.

My heart will go with a Katsi TKO but my head says a D win for Torito...

Nobody cuts worse then Mike. The last fight you could see his skull damn near.

I agree with the general consensus here. The fight would be explosive, but Katsidis would be let down by his skin.

Diaz would open up some nasty cuts and stop Katsidis in the mid-late fight.

Now THIS is a f'n good fight. Isn't Katsidis banned for a year from boxing in the United States after that War with Amondsot?

I dont know much about Katsidis but from the few videos i have seen he is an Arturo Gatti type of fighter. He might look good against average fighters but Juan is top notch. I see it as a lop sided decicion for Juan or ref stoppage in the later rounds.

A hard-punching slugger is what it takes to knock JD out..and Kastidis is just perfect for that job. :thumbsup

this fight would have nonstop action right after the opening bell...
i pick baby bull by stoppage because of cuts... remember katsidis vs amonsot... katsidis face was a mess.... now imagine someone like baby bull giving kat the kind of beating he gives his opponents...

This fight if made would be possibly the most entertaining fight in the last 25 years or so. Not a superfight, but a super fight.

I was calling for this fight after saturdays bout. As for how it goes.
katsidas is no lazy fighter, so him being devastated by bulls offense
wouldn't be the case. Diaz would be able to mix to the head and body
better, but katsidas has what no fighter juan has faced yet. Blood
thirsty viciousness and knock your head off power. Juan would have to land 3 to 1 against the great the keep up, and katsidas is faster than
julio diaz. This is a bad fight for diaz w/ nothing to gain, so fans won't see this fight anytime soon. Which is a damn shame for us fans, but
good business sense takes precedent over what we want. Anyway, i
think diaz takes this on points, but goes thru HELL!

too soon becaue katsidis will be probably overmatched against a more polished and technically superior juan diaz. too soon because in a couple of years time, katsidis may have the experience to match up better with juan diaz and therfore give us all a better boxing match than what they could give us today.
