Diaz is a massive favourite yes, but he is not invincible. He was still getting hit a fair bit in his last couple of fights. Katsidis will put on a show and hopefully gain plenty of respect in the process.

I think after watching him fight a few times..its impossible not to have the utmost respect for a warrior like Katsidis...but his style and his tendency to get cut badly doesnt bode well against a fighter like Diaz.

Katsidis will put up a show, & win, lose or draw will give it his all.
Katsidis will not give up no matter what. Makes all us Aussies proud.

I see this going the full 12 rounds. Can Katsidis cause the upset?? Prob not.
But time will tell. He wont die wondering....

sometimes you have to take the opportunities as they come. maybe he'll make a great effort and end up winning in the end, a la malignaggi

Of course Katsidis took the fight. If nobody ever took fights against favourites then you wouldn't have many matches to look forward to. It looks like a promising match, but I'm pretty sure Juan Diaz will win it, very possibly on a KO.

I don't see the point in Katsidis waiting really

He's only ever going to fight one way. Face first, all out attack

Which means a short but exciting career, and hence he needs to get these big fights quickly

Having said that, he's going to get battered. Amir Khan would be an even worse match up for him, so he's lucky in that sense

You mean Khan would be more dangerous than Juan Diaz?

I mean it's even worse in a styles sense

    He'd get knocked out sooner

Doesn't mean Khan is better than Diaz

    Yet

Exactly how I see it. This fight will be ELECTRIC while it lasts.
