Bika did well but not enough to win. Scores were a joke. 116-112 or 115-113 would have been reasonable.

Bika fought as he usually does and Ward wasn't able to adapt as I thought he would. Ward did most of the holding and sooked about the heads coming together when he was partly responsible. Ward gets every possible advantage when he fights at home. Fight was a bit scrappy due to styles but wasn't bad.

Good effort from Sakio. He would've done ok in the Super Six had he been in it from the start. Hope he gets a few more wins and another shot.

Andre Ward is honestly one of the dirtiest boxers in the world right now. An amazing talent none-the-less. Him and Froch should be a good stink.

Ward vs Froch should be a terrific fight.
Very impressed by Froch in his last bout & i expect a close competitive matchup vs Ward.

Mate, I am absolutely astounded that there are people in this country that have the hide to call themselves "sporting" Journalists.
They are a bunch of succolds that run off & do some bull**** event when there are our blokes fighting in the elite of world boxing without a line of acknowledgement.

A few years back, I was told by a senior journo that the reason they don't get coverage is because people are turning to other less violent contact sports.

I asked him how was it that a main eventer in a club fight earns $2000+ for a 45 minute match. Someone is paying for it. "It's not a charitable sport you know"

    He said "Who gets that?"
I said "Why don't you go to a fight & find out"

"Never mind" I said. The answer is, "They all do"

    "Bull****"

I said, "Well you're right there to a degree. Mick Shaw just got $4500 for going two rounds with Skinny Hussein"

He looked at me like I was trying to sell him the Harbour bridge.

They think everyone crowds around the TV waiting for updates on the LA Lakers or the ****en Boston Bogans or some ****.

They haven't got a ****en clue.

I doubt the general public knew anything about Bika or that he is supposedly Aussie.

    Yeah great article.

Bit of a disappointment at the end though, not even mentioning Sakio's full name, giving the score & reporting the "Camaroon born Sydney based Bika"
Whose wife & child are both Australian born didn't seem to mean much.:huh
