he never recovered from the 1st punch which landed earlier in the round, after that punch landed it was forgone conclusion.

i was meant to put "quite comfortably" as in as comfortable as you can outbox Katsidis. No need to get your knickers in a twist:lol:

katsidis deserves huge credit he got his gameplan spot on, kev didnt but even that was because michael showed lateral movement+skill on the back foot that u dont associate with him. Sad 4 kev hes a gr8 lad i hope he learns+comes back strong

Katsidis IMO is just short of world class but he is a warrior and it's hard not to like this guy.

    Have to disagree.

I think it was just a case of Katsidis having a look over the first two rounds, then he thought "okay, is that all there is", then he twatted Mitchell in the third. Katsidis made one sustained burst in each of the first two rounds, got to Mitchell and had him backing up, then in the third he just slipped into a higher gear and ended it.

Your boy got owned, raped, brutally. You can't spin it. DONE all ends up.

Bingo. Over the course of the fight the 3 (4?) times Kats stepped it up he had Mitchell in trouble.

 i love that. Boxing news has missed a trick with the analysis pages when they should take a leaf outta your book and call a spade a ****ing spade. Twatted is underrated

Theres not much else can be said the better tactician was, bizzarely, Katsidis and Kev fell into the trap. Not an easy route back for Kev, cries out for John Murray fight but with rival promoters im not holding my breath
