For fighting that fight with losing his brother. What a performance for what was sort of expected. We knew he was there to be hit, but he gave Marquez hell. I love watching him fight, what a warrior. I expected him to put Marquez down again, it was just such a clean left hook and put him down but Marquez adjusted well. WAR KATSIDIS. You are a warrior, you give and take it unlike some other so called warriors in boxing.
Yup, Katsidis gave it his all, as usual entertaining and competitive regardless of result. All eyes on Marquez though, he's the man of the day and this is definitely fight of the year.
yeah. after 8 rounds, i had it 76-75 jmm. it was close until the 9th when jmm started unleashing his uppeercuts and got the stoppage. kinda like the casamayor fight which was very close until the stoppage.
I had it 76-74. Was a close fight, Katsidis was coming on though but Marquez like the pro he is, caught him and kept it on him.
Respect to Michael Kat, i wish he won tonight but he tried his best and Marquez is one hell of a fighter and Katsidis is a tough warrior.
Katsidis deserves mad respect. I was actually a little nervous being impressed by how well he boxed. He looked sharper, tighter, and wasn't wreckless, and put the pressure on when he needed to at the right time. In all honesty he fought close to as perfect a fight as he could, it just wasn't enough. Katsidis Diaz 2 anyone?
JMM is just an awesome fighter, and Kats has an awesome attitude. Everybody wins with fights like this.
The man has heart and is a true warrior.... much respect. I was amazed when I saw him drop Marquez.... but as always Marquez also has a big heart of a warrior and came back.... props to both... and Litzau
:good Katsidis has a lot of guts and heart. Losing someone close to you is devastating and he still got in the ring to fight a war. If only he had the skills to match that heart. The outcome of the fight would of been different. And will someone please teach him to throw a decent straight right...:deal
