I know this is the Brit forum but this fight could have ramifications on the British scene if Kahn gets past his PPV extravaganza earlier on the 6th Sept.

Who you do you guys fancy for this fight? Diaz by KO for me, he's fought better men and looked more impressive doing it.

Diaz by TKO, possibly on cuts, possibly the ref jumping in after unanswered shots.

Will be exciting while it lasts, however Diaz has much the more solid fundementals. He can spell jab for example. His defence is okay, if not great as it was shown up by Campbell, but should be enough for Katsidis' predictable onslaughts.

Kat hasn't got the chin or defence at the top level and when your skin is like paper machet, not good.

Diaz is p4p number 1-2 when on form. As long as the campbell loss hasn't taken much out of him he should do well.

I rate Diaz pretty highly and I don't rate Kats that much at all at world class.

I like Diaz but would really like Kat to win so I am very tempted to favour him. This is a potential classic on par with Khan and Presscott.

I go for Diaz by TKO

Katsidis has great power and heart, but as Casamayor showed he can be outboxed and outlasted even by an old man - and as Diaz is far from being old I have to side in his favour

    Will be a humdinger though

I would say top 10, but not top 2!

I wouldn't mind seeing Diaz vs Pac, if Pac isn't retired by DLH

He's not top 10. There are a few guys that could beat him at 135, aside from Campbell.

Good to watch, except for the barking.

    Top 10 p4p

Guzman, Campbell, Marquez, Pacquiao would all beat him.

You've sort of proven my point there. It's difficult to be a top 10 p4p fighter if there are several guys in your own division with a real chance of beating you. He didn't really merit that status before Campbell proved that he was always slightly overrated, nevermind now.

I think you are incorrect regarding Guzman too. If anybody is likely to be hitting a lot of arms, its Diaz. Guzman has the speed to keep out of danger, the defence and counterpunching to cut Diaz's work-rate in half. This would be the toughest fight in the division for him stylistically.

I could see Marquez doing a similar job, but he's not as physically gifted as Guzman and Diaz's work-rate could make an impact on him.

Casa would also give him a very tough fight, especially early on and even though I favour him to edge Marquez I think styles wise Diaz would just take over down the stretch against the old man.

Not top 10, never has been worthy of it and likely never will.
