Katsidis fight at the weekend why is it getting so little coverage on This forum ???

I've been forgetting heaps lately due to me planning on moving overseas in 3 weeks. I also nearly forgot that Australia is playing The Netherlands in a friendly this weekend.

We didn't even get to see Soliman V Wright when they fought. Instead, main Event only telecatsed Mundine V some bum, and Green V some bum.
The sadder thing is that those fights didn't intervene with the Soliman/wright fight. It was on 8 hours earlier. atsch

your right josey, but i think with the aussie forum we talk about the fight as soon as its signed then go back to just chattin about general boxing.

its sad and unfair Mic isnt gettin his fight on Tv live, because this is a fight that could really get some casual boxing fans to take notice, maybe its to $$$$ to put on free tv, i dont know.

good money for Katsidis in this fight, payin 5 for the KO is great value, im just morried with Jauns punch output he might hurt and finish him

As explained in there its a Sky Channel exclusive, Main Event are not showing it as they've decided to go with the UFC. Its not available to watch at home (cough sopcast) so you have to go watch it at a pub. For all those bitching about this remember, Main Event had their choice and turned their back on the Katsidis fight. Sky Channel have taken it up so at least we can be thankful that someone is showing it.
Will update the list soon, 71 venues at last count but still none in SA, Tas or ACT. People in those states should target a fight friendly pub and get on the phone, we did in WA and now have one showing it.

Yes you are right but thats what you have to like about Katsidis.No easy tune ups after his first loss straight into a big challenge.Its this Aussie never give up,Never think things through attitude that I love.Its a shame he doesnt attract more exposure here in Oz.GO KATSIDIS.:happy

 

It would be good Kegsy but on Sunday morning at that time I'll be asleep after a 12 hour night shift 600km from Perth. I just wanted to ensure that someone in WA was showing it.

 

I have the Arab bug.Especially the lebenese variety.And knowing that their whole family hate seeing their goodlooking sisters, daughters,neices etc climbing my anglo bone makes it even more tasty.
