    from the article:

"The fight will go on! I will do this for Stathi, my family and myself," Katsidis, who is training in Thailand, said in a prepared statement.

"The moment I walked in for a grueling sparing session after hearing the news of his death earlier that day, my trainer, Brendon Smith, shook my hand and said to me, 'You are about to take the bravest step of your life.' We nodded, smiled and went to work. I worked as I have never done before. He is with me and will be all the way. I am happy about this.

"I have never experienced anything like I felt that day. Stathi is inside me! We will fight this fight together. I know this is what he wants."

Inspiring stuff. Hope he is ok when he steps in the ring.

Spare a thought for jmm too...must be tough on him having to fight mick at a time like this. I thought it was a real good gesture when he offered his prayers for stathis soul and his family.

Very classy of JMM to do so.. True, he is definately compassionate, yet a hard son of a ***** all the same. He'll do his best to tear kats a new arsehole until the final bell.

I think I am even more excited about this fight now - Kats will somehow give more than his all - and JMM knows this and will be ready for it.

The media should be all over this fight, Australia should be on the edge of their seat for this one!

Yeah, I think that Stathi's unfortunate end may just be a small blessing for Mick in that the media might pay more attention to it.

Good luck to him in this fight. It WILL be a war!

Man, this just crazy. mike should come home to his family and put his brother to rest.

I know mike will put half a million on the back burner and there is other problems that could pop up if or when mike returns to Australia which I will not get into here on this forum. He should come home and pay respect to his brother and if he has to face the music on the past, so be it.
Well he made his decison and I hope he beats JMM. good luck

Its better he stays away from Australia for a while so the press about his legal issues wont be as loud IMO.

Buster Douglas used the anger he gained from his mothers passing., turned it into a burning desire to win like never before and de throned the undefeated Mike Tyson.

I feel Katsidis is making the right decision and will come out the Victor.
