I know I'm late but we don't get HBO in Canada so forgive me, but what a fight. Katsidis has been in 3 all out wars in a row. This guy is a guaranteed money maker in the sport. I don't even care that he lost, I watch his Earl and Amonsat fights all the time and I'll be watching this one too. He went out like a warrior.
One of the few occasions where you gain from losing a big fight. People eat that blood n guts warrior **** up and if he continues to fight, he'll always be a draw. A guaranteed KO either on him or the other guy.
he is exciting and his carries his heart on his sleeve. that is quite admirable for a fighter in today's world. however, he is too crude to be anything special and by special i mean a fighter who could be in the p4p list. he has to learn a lot more. if he continues to fight the way he does, his career will not last long.
Well I wouldn't compare anyone with Gatti, so better or not doesn't matter. Basically I'm excited anytime Katsidis has a fight coming up, I don't mind rooting for someone who could very well lose as long as he goes out the way he did.
I don't think he'll ever be that good to be honest. Some guys can't change what's already implanted in their minds. You can preach defense and boxing but as soon as they get tagged, it turns into warrior time.
Even though he may not be good enough to succeed at the top level, he's still an exciting fighter who will put bums on seats and make people buy PPV's. I cant wait till his next fight!!!! Go on Michael!!
