Really pains me to say, i'm a huge Katsidis fan. Michael might well still get a world title, in this day and age, many a sub world class fighter has managed to get an alphabet title, look at the bum Danny Green had to beat to get one.

Katsidis is just a bit too limited in his gameplan options and as he has gotten more exposure, he has been easier to work out.

Id actually like to see Katsidis fight Amir Khan now. or if he were brave, Bredis Prescott. If he could KO Prescott, that would get him a lot of cred by default.

Katsidis 100% needs to get a new trainer. He needs to break from his buddy and get someone who will push him in a different way to reach his potential

He has fought alota of blown up fighters here and was neva tested and neva could adjust at the highest level due to lack of experience, until 27 he went untested until now, which is too late IMO. Now he is fightin a legend and young up and comer. They have pop and toughness to test him..

It always amazes me how a fighter is labelled "sub standard, not world class, a bum, etc,etc,etc..." just because they lose to the greatest fighters in the world.

Consider that there are millions of boxing gyms throughout the world, then consider how Katsidis has only lost two pro fights to former world champions

HOW THE **** CAN ANYONE SUGGEST KATSIDIS AINT WORLD CLASS ??? :huh

    Go headbutt a locamotive.

He has what it takes to mess with the best of them and these 2 experiences will see him back in the ring winning a title before his game is over... so long as he takes the right next steps

I think he is definitely world class, he may not be the cream of the crop but he is still a great fighter.

He went so close to defeating casa, with better gameplan he would of won. Also put up a decent performance against diaz.

And has crushed all his other opposition.Sounds world class to me.

No1 is saying p4p or legend.

Kats has shown he can mix it with the worlds best so your statement is way off. I for one commend him for fighting the likes of casa & diaz & not fill his fight log with 2 bit taxi drivers from the Philapines. Sometimes a defeat against quality fighters makes you a better fighter overall & not overpowering someone who is inferior to your own level & doesn't test you.

I dont agree with the thread, he IS world class.

And true top ten fighter. It looks like his chin is better than i gave him credit for, yeah Diaz isnt a real banger, but he does have power and has worn a lot of fighters down and finished them before the Katsidis fight.

Isnt it great how many of the yanks talk so much about him. They already have threads up about who he should fight next .

I agree with the title to the thread.

He has come up just abit short against his 2 biggest fights against former champs. I think that qualifys as a smidge below world class.

    Still a top 10 at 135lbs

P.S I don't think the thread starter was having a go at Kats, and nor am i for that matter.
