Seconded. He's a credit to the sport and the Aussies. How he managed to fight, and so well, despite the recent tragedy, was amazing. Hopefully i'll get to see him fight in the flesh over here in England, before he hangs them up.

Gotta love Katsidis, fights absolutely anyone and anywhere (usually in opponent's backyard), however you seriously have to wonder how long he can stay in the fight game. So many wars, and takes so much punishment in his fights you have to fear for his health if he sticks to the fight game for much longer.

Just on another note, did anyone else see the Herald Sun newspaper report on Saturday??? Just to further highlight the complete and utter ineptness and incompetence of the aussie boxing media they had a half page spread in the sport section on the Marquez-Katsidis fight and place a half page photo of Juan Manual Lopez instead.

Seriously . . . how do these journalists get a gig over here if they can't even recognize one of the top P4P fighters in the world?? It just boggles the mind.

Yes, and Katsidis has a bit of a spark that as a speaker/person that you would hate to see dulled by too many ring wars.

If anyone ever deserved a win going into a fight it was Katsidis in this one. The guy is a credit to himself and the sport, and is certainly one of that warrior 10% that the other 90% only dream of being.

one of my favourite fighters, if more elite boxers had his courage & determination then boxing would be in a much healthier state than it is now...

Tough fighter who is always welcome in the UK.One of the most popular overseas fighters to come here. Marquez was always a big ask for him as he is to the vast majority of fighters. No shame in the loss at all,not one bit.
Katsidis will be back no doubt about that.Hope he comes back over to the Uk before he retires.
