Katsidis-Mitchell Prediction Thread: Who Takes The Stones?

    We have an interesting fight to look forward to next week. It should be fantastic and I'm really looking forward to it but, in your opinion, who wins?

    A lot of people are underestimating Katsidis which, to me at least, seems amazing considering he's spent a few years mixing it with the best at 135 now. Mitchell has only ever had one significant fight at 135 against a man known only for beating Khan inside one minute, and this is his first genuine fight against someone in the 'world-class' bracket.

    What happens? Does Katsidis draw Mitchell into a brawl? Does Mitchell try and put on another sound technical display like he did against Prescott? Does the fight pan out some other way?:think

    Who wins and how? Poll will be made public so, in true ESB fashion, those who picked the correct result can gloat and look disparagingly at those who predicted the wrong outcome:good.

    i think katsidis will be too much for mitchell, mitchell likes to go toe to toe but i dont think its the right thing to do with katsidis. However mitchell could attempt to box him like he did with prescott which could enable him to get the points win, though katsidis i think will be looking to knock him out

    I think Katsidis will stop Mitchell late.

    I'm rooting for Mitchell obviously, but can't help that unless Warren has changed tack and is taking genuine risks, that they've made a mistake here - in terms of a big leap in class from journeymen to a man that's mixed at world class for several years with positive results.

    Either way, I'm all for it, meaningful fights being made - but I expect Katsidis to come out early and really bring the fight to Mitchell, who will get desperate and stopped.

    Hopefully I'm wrong, just so Dan has a Calzaghe or Man City moniker for 60 days :yep

    Mitchell wins with late stoppage :bokche has the power...but so does Katsidis so maybe Mitchell on points.

    I don't even know who I want to win. If I had a gun to my head, I would go with Mitchell PTS though.

    i believe the mitchell we saw against prescott was just the start of good things to come, this will be another masterclass from mitchell and a clear points decision, although i do see katsidis giving mitchell a wakeup call early on.

    this fight has classic written all over it.
