No clue! I think you may be right :huh I remember from the Marquez fight, they was talking about that and his brother.

The man has taken too many punches. With that style you're never going to be the same wrecking machine you once was after a while.

What is wrong with fighting on FNF? Personally I cant see anything wrong with headlining a fight card on a prime time slot on a major TV network in Las Vegas against a ranked opponent

Boxers on FNF make $30,000 max.....and that gets split with his entire team. A fight on HBO or Showtime (or PPV) makes WAY more than that in multiples.

This is a huge comedown for Katsidis...I realize any exposure is good, and that he needs to stay in the public eye and has to make a paycheck. Obviously he is taking this fight at peanut pay because he can't get a bigger payday. I'm not insulting the guy, just stating facts.

Anyway, he needs to retire, and should have a least a year ago, with all the punishment he takes. I refuse to watch his fights, I will not watch this one and I ALWAYS watch FNF...it's a tradition at my house. This kid is just looking for brain damage, and his family and team would stop him from fighting anymore, if they really cared about him.

Taking a lower paid fight on FNF's is smart. Confidence back, exposure to a larger audiance, and probably a fight which won't lead to injuries, meaning he can fight again soon if he wants.
