    A friend mentioned that Michael Katsidis will be on the 'OTR' program on SkyChannel 519? on Foxtel this Tuesday @ 7pm

    Might be a good watch


    Also---
    Any idea on how sales are going?? could they expect more than 2-3 thousand people? how many people does the place fit?

    I remember Anton mentioning this was being advertised quite extensively on radio on the coast?

    Tomorrow, aug 9 at 1pm, their is a press conference at jupiters casino. Most fighters are in attendance for questions and answers etc.

    Free to public for anyone interested.

    the place holds about 6000,

    ticket sales have been sh1t though unfortunately. hopefully they get a lot show up on the night. mick certainly deserves it.

    Their first fight was a good'un. Though I think Mick has bigger fish to fry though at this point in time.

    Yep. As much as id like to see it, it makes no sense for kats.

    * jack asis was telling me he sparred lots of rounds with mick for this fight and did quite well. Jack is fighting some kid from the usa who brendan is saying is a gbp fighter. Nestor rocha from memory???

    He knocked out Ganoy in 2005 in the 5th round, droped him in the 2nd round as well but i do agree it would be a better fight than the one Katsidis is having now, katsidis is rated #13 in the world, his opponent is rated #255. Ganoys in the 30s, i guess they want a non risk fight against someone whos not a big puncher.

    I agree with Ty, I also think your spot on about this being more or less a lead up. I think its then trying to get casamayor out here. I heard Chris McCullen mention Katsidis trying to get a rematch to Australian shores. If i had to guess, i reckon theyre talking about Casamayor. and another guess would be its going to happen in Melbourne.

    On another note, I know Katsidis has been in some big wars.

    But i think im one of very few people on here who think Katsidis still has alot to give in this sport and alot to achieve. Im very confident he will win a world title, beating someone like linares / soto etc.

    I think looking back we will realise 2 of his losses will be to future P4p awesome fighters. (yes i think guerrero will go on to achieve great things)

    the only 2 really dissapointing losses were casamayor and diaz
    casa he should have won, and diaz i think he was in fear/defence mode because he lost his previous bout.

    my thoughts only
