Katsidis plans big fight in oz next!!!

    Was just told that Katsidis will return for a big fight in either Melbourne or Brisbane around April/May.

    Discussions are underway now. The show will be underwritten by Sportsbet and another big company.

    It will involve a top rated opponent and is definately not a tune up.

    Hope it ends up happening, would be great to see Kats fighting in Oz again.

    From what i have read his next fight is in April against Julio Diaz in the USA. Hope it works out

    Not happening.

    Also, Hattons camp called Kats team about a possible fight when Pac was stalling things. GBP also want to use Kats in a tournament style concept with a bunch of other lightweights.

    They will definately be fighting back here next. Only thing I don't know is who the opponent will be. But I was assured it is a very meaningful fight.

    Looking forward to it.

    Would be great to see Kats back in Oz but it's a shame he hasn't landed another big fight over their Diaz would have been perfect IMO.

    I like your assessment shanemfr. When Katsidis is given the same level of opponent I'm sure the fight will be a different show.

    mick seems too loyal to get rid of his current trainer, but lets face it - after the diaz fight we all saw that he is a total whackjob. To tell mick he was clearly winning was a ****en crime.
