"I relate boxing to life," Katsidis said. "I see that fight as an experience. I had never had a fight at that level. I was fighting in the main event on HBO. I learned what to do and what not to do as far as mentally preparing for a fight like that. I learned what to expect and what not to expect. Now my mental approach will be much different for the Juan Diaz fight than it was for the Casamayor fight." - Michael Katsidis

"One of the things I've been working on is listening to my corner more," Diaz said. "I was stubborn against Nate Campbell. With Katsidis I'm going to use my jab and put a lot of pressure on. But if it's not working I'm going to listen to Ronnie and step back and box him." - Juan Diaz

Katsidis has learned his mistakes in the Casa fight, he will not make those same mistakes again.

I'm really excited about this matchup!! Katsidis KO9 Diaz.

Kat's nerves need to settle before round 2 in this one. He has to conquer that...

Very true. Diaz should come out jabbing and trying to box, so Katsidis won't be in immediate danger before he's gotten a chance to warm up, IMO. A few light combinations from Diaz should wake Katsidis up and get him going.

Diaz should win it if it goes the distance.
He throws way too many punches.
However, Diaz will be right there in front of Katsidis.
Diaz will for sure get his chin tested like he hasnt before.
    Very interesting.
