    From ESPN's Dan Rafael.

    • Of the proposed Michael Katsidis-Robert Guerrero lightweight fight, which is penciled in to headline "BAD" on March 27, Schaefer said, "[It] looks good. Both guys have agreed." He said he has a meeting planned with Katsidis to finalize the bout. If you ask me, that is a can't-miss fight.

See this is why i love Katsidis. Always chasing top notch fights against the best possible opponents and then he gets in the ring and makes it exciting. Doing Australia proud!

Is this for Rockys interim title?

Has Guerrero ever fought at Lightweight?

    Should be a great fight

Not sure what happens here. JMM is fighting Khan, so he should be stripped for not honoring his mando against Katsidis. Whether that means katsidis is elevated to outright champ now???

Guerrero fought at 135 two fights back but recently beat Malcolm Klassen at super-feather. Taking on a legit, hard, super fit lightweight is a big ask when his career has been at feather/super feather.

But he is very well rounded fighter. Southpaw, who can fight in close and at range, and is a very good mover. Amonsot and Cassamayor are leftys....I don't think they worry Kats too much but then again, one guy cut his face to shreds and the other one knocked him out.

I think Katsidis will be too strong for Guerrero, whose coming off a good win against Klassen. Guerrero wont have the power to hurt Kats, but he is a damn good technician.

No surprise if this fight is stopped due to one of them being cut.

Since Guerreros moving up so many divisions so fast I'm sure you'll be asking for Olympic ctyle testing PJ?

I'd love for Olympic style testing to be the standard in boxing. Wouldn't you?

Suspicious of Guerrero? I'm not. could he be usiing ped's...he's a pro athlete of course he could.

He hasn't put on 12 pounds in 9 months and I doubt he'l be knocking out a lightweight with one punch inside two rounds either.

    excellent fight!!

getting pumped just thinking about it :happy

i think guerrero is a fantastic fighter and even though he is stepping up in weight its a 50/50 fight.

the fight will be rocky hunting him down and the ghost boxing from the back foot. but i wont underestimate guerreros power which he will most likely carry up to 135.

top fight ...rocky is a warrior :deal

Guess at JMM's stage and age its more about the money then proving yourself against young hungry tough fighters. There was prob more money in an Amir Khan fight then a Katsidis one. Cant blame Marquez he has been/is a great champion.
