Super fight....gutted I fell asleep last night.

That 3rd round was something else, that shot from Katsidis should have had JMM flat on his back for minutes...if that was landed on any of the other LWs we'd be discussing if it was that shot or Martinez that should get KO of the year! Then you had JMM in the **** and backing up for a minute before regaining his senses on the ropes, slipping Kats best shots and starting to land his own and ending up dominating the round.

What a memorable month November has been.

 

Adding to that - really good refereeing for me. It was tough because Katsidis was still coming forward and throwing, but he was just taking too many shots.

 

If Katsidis had a right hand he would've gone a bit further in his career. He's essentially a one handed fighter. The way he throws that right is weird...he tries to turn it over, but gets no snap on it. It kind of looks like a fighter throwing a shot with a dislocated shoulder. Very poor technique.

He'd be better of not throwing it and having it in front of his chin the whole fight, rather than throw an ineffective punch that leaves him open to counters.

Mick's got a good left hand and a massive heart. If he had a right hand he'd be unstoppable.

 

Yeah i think he's trainer somewhere along the lines has told him to turn it right over and he over exaggerates it. I mean he landed numerous times and JMM just brushed it off like it was nothing. I think he loses power because of the action. He just let the right hand go with normal technique and turn through with the punch and i think he'd hurt alot more guys then this crank right hand he throws.

Katsidis does throw a good right hand from middle range, it's the punch he took out Mitchell with, but its when he gets in close as other have said he shows crap technique.
