Katsidis vs Broner......How would the fight go?

kats is a good fighter, i'd favor him over PDL and we saw how Broner did against PDL.

Never count katsidis out, he always brings the fire.

 

Broner is the more polished, but much less experienced and tested. Katsidis was showing great improvement leading up to the Marquez fight, and if he can show up like he did on that night, he could pull it off. He can cut off the ring well, he's relentless, throws short punches in high volume, and hits very hard.

 

At his best Katsidis would have been an outstanding test for Broner.

Sadly Katsidis has been worn down by a string of brutal, mostly losing fights recently. Because of all the head shots he's taken I'm afraid the guy might be at serious risk of puglistic dementia, even if he hung up the gloves today.

 

I think it's the end of the line for Katsidis. I think He'd get beat up against Broner at this point. I don't know if it's just me, but I wouldn't favor him even at his best. Broner is too quick for him and MK's hardcharging ways would walk him right into alot of shots.

 

Katsidis had been slipping recently, but maybe he might of found a new regained confidence at 135 where I think he really shouldn't be leaving. Takes too many clean shots he'll get butchered by Broner. If Katsidis did anything to cover or protect his face maybe adapt a Winky/AA type high guard defense he would fare alot better. Takes way, way too many shots.

 

I agree.I don't think he's able to challenge any of the better fighters at the weight anymore.He was always dangerous because he was one of those guys for whom every punch contained serious venom,and that for me was his greatest asset.Now he's too wide open,and the power that hid his flaws is fading.
It's sad,because he was great entertainer,but any "thinking" type boxer at the top level will take him apart.
Sad to say,but I think he's just a resume padder now.Broner would take him apart quite clinically for me.

I didn't see Katsidis' last fight but from what I understand he didn't look too good but even using a best case scenario I think Broner stops him with a left hook coming in at some point but I wouldn't be surprised if he gave him a tough fight up to that point. Broner can't really fight too well up close and Katsidis would be all over him.

 

his last opponent was a poor mans version of Broner.

 

Broner would just be too much in every facet of the game for Katsidis @ this point of his career.

at this point of kats career hes not a threat . broner would put him away no way it goes to the judges
