    It was just announced today.

So instead of 10 rounds for no title it will be 12 which gives a advantage to Juan.

I think fans were worried that it was only going to be a 10 round fight.

But now a title is involved it is a lock in for 12 rounds of WAR.'

    If it goes that long.

Why McGrain you think Rocky's career will be over if he loses.

Or you think he will be just that guy that everyone fights to test themselves like a
Lovemore NDou or a Zab Judah

If Mick losses he wont become like Ndou but it will be very hard to get back to the main men of the division

The second one. Two losses at the highest level for a fighter who's impressive but a little two dimensional is usually enough to see off any other shots. He'd need to get lucky and beat someone who appeared to be special coming up to get back in line, I think.

    Though he's very popular.

Yeah the one thing i love about Katsidis is he isnt scared.
Of taking on the big name guys or having loses on his record which 90% of fighters are these days.
He wanted Guzman and Guzman pulled out so he took on Casamayor and lost when he should have won he got silly.

    Now Juan Diaz.
I cant fault Katsidis won bit. But if he had defense wow he would be something.

Kat's superior firepower will win out.

Katsidis has such a scary combination of chin and defense, i have no good feeling about his future. I hope im wrong though. He is a exciting warrior but he needs some ring smarts. What was enough for Amonsot and Earl is probably not good enough to beat Diaz.

it's got a good chance of going the distance.

juan diaz is a known powderpuff with a solid chin and good technique also he doesnt get flustered by pressure. he can be beaten of course but i dont think katsidis has the combination punching that diaz got outpointed by. he also has renownd stamina

same again katsidis is a good tough kid and has crazy stamina but is not known to bulldoze but to scrap and scrape againt his opponant.

    anyone else agree?

Haha. Funny how everyone is favoring the blue collar puncher who didn't show an ounce of defense or finishing skills in his first step up. Freitas, J Diaz and even Nate Campbell have very good power at lightweight didn't even come close to getting baby bull out of there. Plus kat made Casa look like a monster puncher way he was brutally koed so a Diaz ko is not out the question (though likely by ref or corner stoppage). What good is his firepower if the opponent has a tested chin at the champion level and is light years ahead in stamina and pure boxing skill? Sorry folks but no one at lightweight blasts out Juan Diaz.

I think that Kat is a stylistic nightmare for most people in the division because he is not only aggressive, but also has good power for a swarmer. I disagree with the crazy stamina part though as I feel his stamina was one of the main reasons he was stopped so badly against Casa.

Katsidis has too much power, too hard chin and too much speed for Baby Bull. I see him rematching Casa next and putting him down for good this time.
