Yet not too many threads about probably the best matchup in terms of possible excitement for any fight scheduled for the rest of this year!

Katsidis is the main reason! this kid is a Warrior and Diaz punches in Bunches. Yet all I hear about are these other bull**** matches.

come on guys support this fight, this is the one that should be on any hardcore fight fans radar in a big way. I am rooting for Katsidis as I like his leave it all go for broke style. I dont know if he will pull it off cuts might be a factor in this one.

Superb fight! I wonder why didn't they put it on the Casa-JMM undercard - both LW fights and this one will be the thriller.

The thread I posted has well over a 1000 hits...I was excited about this fight even before Margo and Cotto had their epic battle...This fight I believe will eclipse Margo-Cotto in terms of excitement....Finally the fight is here and oddly for me I really don't care who wins as I'm a big fan of both fighters, however I did pick Diaz to win by stoppage on cuts(about all my Vcash is on him) Both are great warriors that could've won their previous fights with a different gameplan........Both hand Pac the beatdown of a lifetime, bet the farm on that:)

This is going to be a one-sided beating in favor of Diaz.

Despite my pick for a Diaz stoppage you are on drugs(good ones too) if you think this will be a one-sided beatdown...No way will this be a one sided beatdown. Diaz seriously underestimates the will and determination of Katsidis(judging from recent interviews) which could pose a major problem for the baby bull:deal

Well if its a tight fight It will favor Katsidis, cause Diaz seems to be a bit of a frontrunner at least thats what it looked like against Campbell. There were no sound effects or grunting as soon as things got tough and the body language was all negative.....man Im phsyched for this fight!!!!

No way Katsidis can win this fight. Zero chance at all.

Even if Diaz comes in boozed, he will still beat the **** out of the limited, crude, chinny Katsidis in a fashion similar to what Pacquaio did to David Diaz.

Baby Bull will beat him to the punch, will pressure him every second of the round, will not allow him to set up his attack, and basically will just make him quit probably in the 10th round.

Katsidis is not strong enough like Cambell was to beat the baby bull.

I don't see how anyone figures this fight is a foregone conclusion. Katsidis may not be the most technically sound fighter, but he's arguably the strongest fighter Juan has ever fought and definitely the biggest puncher. They are both coming off devastating losses, but in totally different fashions. Katsidis got careless in a fight where he was arguably leading and essentially knocked out by one punch due to his own reckless aggression and foolishness. Diaz was beaten at his own game and systematically broken down mentally and physically over 12 rounds. No outcome would surprise me. I just hope it's the fight we all (or at least most of us) expect, ending with a clear cut winner, and no controversy. Though I'm not sure if Laurence Cole would permit that.

    Without doubt.

Setanta Sports is a disgrace showing UFC rather than Katsdis vs Diaz. The so-called Home of Boxing that "I'm" paying for with my part-time job.

This is a fight where I don't have a great rooting interest, so I'll be able to watch it and just hope for a good scrap. And I think that's what we are going to get. There's a lot on the line for both fighters and there should be a sense of desparation and urgency. I told my friends who are not boxing fans to be sure to tune in on Saturday.
