Katsidis VS Marquez post fight interviews

On another topic. How was the crowds reaction to the fight? Being that you are from Australia.

 

Am I the only one who thought Larry Merchnt did a really poor job with Katsidis' interview? Instead of asking a few questions about who Michael would like to fight nex, or to simpl assess his performance, he seemed very pointed and then I thought it was very awkward with the last question where he asked if his dead brother would have been proud of him. Under the circumstances I thought it seemed inappropriate.

 

You are not alone on this one he pissed me off as well. Katsidis fought well after enduring so much only to be interviewed by a fool. Though I wonder what Kellerman would have done shown him a pic of his dead brother ...

Whats with these boxers that can't admit they were hurt during the fight?
Marquez telling Larry that he wasn't hurt after being knocked down was ****ing laughable:dead
So if he wasn't hurt why was he lying on the canvas in a daze wondering were the **** he was for 4-5 secsatsch

 

Merchant is a jerk!!! I was actually rooting for Marquez to win this bout, but Katsidis really did prove himself a deserving opponent and I think his brother would have been proud. I would have rather heard what were the next plans for team Katsidis, what he thought about his performance against the best fighter in the division, what he would do to improve, etc.

I think Katsidis had a great performance and I think he should challenge for one of the other belts in the division after a good long rest.

The translator was adding more salsa to the taco. Marquez said he recovered because of the training for the fight, they were prepared for this kind of fight. His corner made him aware of the left hook so he remained cognizant of the left hook the rest of the fight.

I personally think he looked vulnerable a few other times through out the fight as well.

I didn't notice Larry's reaction when watching live. He looked really pissed that Litzau was interrupting him.
