C'mon guys, Rios is good but he's not the second coming of Jesus.

Katsidis will not be out of there in under 3 rounds, if Marquez couldn't blast him out early, Rios sure as hell won't.

Granted MK is well past it, but Rios hasn't fought anyway that just doesn't stop yet. I think Rios takes this, possibly stops Katsidis late, but this will be a tough night for him. Rios is no defensive wizard remember.

Katsidis has taken HEAVY punishment in his last two fights against Marquez and Guerrero. In addition, Rios is a relentless two fisted banger. I honestly can only see a KO in the first 4 rounds.

marquez is also past his prime thats why and marquez doesn't have the firepower or size of rios.

Flawed logic to think because JMM didnt do it, that Rios wouldnt. Two completely different fighters, fights, and matchups.

Not only would Rios beat Katsidis much, much worse then JMM did, and probably not get dropped in the process, hed probably beat JMM at this stage too, imo.

Granted, but in the first 4 rounds Katsidis will be his freshest, it takes serious punishment to slow this guy down. I think the likes of Katsidis and Margarito are just human anomalies. Sure he's had like 4 careers worth of punishment already, but he can still take an inhumane amount.

I think Rios's freshness will show later on, but the early rounds will be hard fought

Yeah not the best example I know, and Marquez was boxing off the back foot negating his power, but still, no one has taken Katsidis out early, I just can't fathom it.

Thing is, the last two beatings were horrendous. I just don't think he has it in him anymore. Rios has more power than either Marquez or Guerrero and will bring it constantly.

I understand you're point, and it seems we only differ on the issue of how much Katsidis has left in the tank.

    YES!

If I was the Bobfather I would play it like this:

Rios vs Maidana/Guerrero (on Pac undercard) @140
Rios vs Marquez (after Pac fight) @140
    Rios vs Ortiz @ 147

He will probably beat the first 2 (except maybe Guerrero), Ortiz would be a toss up but would be a nice grudge match :smoke

I have Rios destroying Maidana to be honest, Guerrero is a tough one to call, he can really look exceptional on occasions, but other times he just doesn't want to know. Ortiz v. Rios would be awesome

I like Rios because he talks **** is exciting and backs it up in the ring. He can also fight against all styles and is great for boxing. Him saying anything about PBF is irrelevant to me and up until you just posted this I had never heard him say anything about PBF.

Rios would beat the crap outta Maidana. He has him beat in every department with the exception being power and even that's debatable.
