Boxrec chatting **** as usual. On the scene they say it's agreed that Katsidis will fight Guerrero and Maidana will fight Cayo on the undercard. What a card! :smoke

 

Katsidis vs. Marquez? I have seen a million opponents for him lately.

 

Boxrec appears to have finally caught up with the rest of the world, they have Katsidis vs. Guerrero up now.

That and Cayo-Maidana is quite the one-two punch, if you will. :bbb :happy

I've been saying Cayo since the hypothetical matchup was first cooked up last summer after the Ortiz and Diaz wins. :good My opinion remains unchanged after each scored a third round knockout over the winter.

 

It might simply boil down to Maidana throwing a ton of leather but Cayo landing far more accurately and from unseen angles. Maidana's durability would appear to be above reproach, so I don't want to say Cayo stops him outright, but either a late intervention or a decision win for the Dominican seem most likely to me.

 

Guerrero has pulled out due to personal reasons that have to do with his family.
