"I did have a discussion with [Golden Boy Promotions chief] Richard Schaefer, who would love to put this fight on and knows we are available on the proviso that Michael is paid accordingly."

Khan beats him anyway, too much power, movement, speed, range and better suited at 140 than Kats, deffinately beats Kat by point, maybe break him down for a TKO/KO 7-9 rounds in, khan hits harder than Cassa i'm pretty sure....

Khan is fighting Cssamayor not the greatest fight but better to fight than not I say, makes me laugh sometimes Khan can be a nob I agree but imagine Khan was fighting Kotelnik next like Alexander is and Alexander did to Kotelnik what Khan did basically a shut out, the Yanks would be on over drive in the main room, but cos it's Alexander it's a good workout while he waits for the other big boys of 140 the double standards on here makes me laugh!

 

Golden Boy have to pay Khan his money for the 3 fights he agreed to. So if Khan loses, they'll be screwed and wont be able to recoup Khans moolah for the 3rd fight. Not a particularly wise deal by GBP since Amir is one decent shot from getting KO'd.
With that in mind, they need to get an opponent who is a decent name for Khans next fight and can generate $$$ (for said Khans wages), but at the same time (since Khan is consuming 66% of the purse), is fairly cheap.
Enter Cayo! And this is also to help out GBP dumb call to make JMM v Diaz a PPV.

Khan will be matched up good and proper in his next fight though. Its the only way GBP can make money out of the deal!

 

If Khan had have just taken on Juan Urango in his last fight, I wouldn't give two shits who he fought in his next one. But three bollox fights in a row (Salita, Malignaggi, Casamayor) is taking the **** a bit.

 

And lets admit it, when the news first broke (from Schaefer or whoever) that it was going to be Katsidis or Casamayor next for Khan, who here didn't give a knowing nod and think to themselves "that'll be Casamayor then."

 

But Casa beat katsidis
